Sweet Corn Chaat | स्वीट कार्न चाट


Sweet Corn Chaat is very healthy, fat free and oil free delicious snack to eat. It is very easy and quick to prepare. It can be had as a snack and is loved by everyone. You can prepare this healthy and nutritious chaat  for your kids, when they come back from school. It is a healthier option than cakes and cookies and kids will love it for sure. Today we will learn how to make corn chaat at home following this easy recipe.

Ingredients / सामग्री:

Sweet Corn Kernels or Grains

मीठा भुट्टा / मक्का दाना
1 Cup
1 कप 
Onion
प्याज / कांदा
1 medium size, finely chopped
एक मध्यम आकार का, बारीक़ कटा 
Green Chilli
हरी मिर्च
1 medium size, finely chopped
एक मध्यम आकार की, बारीक़ कटी
Chat Masala
चाट मसाला
½  Tea spoon
½  छोटी चम्मच
Fresh Coriander / Cilantro / Parsley
हरा धनिया
as required
आवश्यकतानुसार
Lemon / Lime Juice
नींबू का रस
1½ Lemon
नींबू का रस
Black Pepper Powder
कालीमिर्च पाउडर
¼ Tea spoon
¼ छोटी चम्मच
Black Salt
काला नमक
½  Tea spoon
½  छोटी चम्मच
Salt
नमक

Method:
  1. First boil the kernels of sweet corn. We can boil them in two ways: - 
    1. Microwave them for 2 minutes on full power in a microwave-safe bowl without adding water. or
    2. Put on the burner, get some water in a pot and boil them.
  2. Take a bowl, add boiled sweet corn kernels, chopped onion, green chili, black pepper powder, chaat masala powder, black salt, salt, fresh green chopped cilantro and lemon juice. Mix it well as shown in video.
  3. Our Delicious fat free Sweet Corn Chaat is ready to serve. Garnish it with cilantro.  
Notes:
  1. You can even add raw cucumber bits / mango bits to add more crunch and flavour.
  2. Serve immediately after mixing everything.



विधि:
  1. सबसे पहले स्वीट कॉर्न (भुट्टे) के दानों को उबाल लें। हम इन्हें दो तरीको से उबाल सकते हैं:-
    1. एक माइक्रोवेव सेफ बर्तन में इन्हें बिना पानी डाले फुल पॉवर पर 2 मिनट के लिए माइक्रोवेव करें। या 
    2. एक बर्तन में थोड़ा सा पानी लेकर इन्हें गैस पर उबाल लें।
  2. एक बर्तन में सभी सामग्री जैसे:- उबले हुए स्वीट कॉर्न (भुट्टे) के दाने, बारीक़ कटा हुआ प्याज, हरी मिर्च, काली मिर्च पाउडर, चाट मसाला पाउडर, काला नमक, सादा नमक, ताजा कटा हरा धनिया और नींबू का रस डालकर वीडियो में दिखाएँ गये तरीके से अच्छी तरह से मिलाएं। 
  3. हमारी पौष्टिक एवं स्वादिष्ट स्वीट कॉर्न चाट बनकर तैयार हैं। इसे तुरंत परोसें और इसका आनंद उठाएँ।
